Skilled Labourer – Join One-of-One Building Collective
At One-of-One Building Collective, simply put, we build awesome sh!t. We specialize in high-end, custom residential projects, and we’re looking for skilled labourers who share our passion for exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, and delivering stunning results.
The Role:
As a Skilled Labourer, you’ll be hands-on in supporting our team with tasks ranging from framing and trim work to site clean-up and everything in between. We need a proactive team player who’s ready to get the job done with pride and a good attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with carpentry, framing, finishing work, siding and various other site tasks.
Use tools and equipment safely
Load, unload, and organize materials
Keep the job site tidy and safe
Support tradespeople and supervisors as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
2+ years of construction or skilled labour experience
Strong understanding of tools, materials, and safety practices
Physical stamina (lifting, bending, climbing)
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
A great attitude and ability to work as part of a team

Architectural Technologist Position Overview
As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a critical role in the design and development of high-end custom homes, ensuring projects align with architectural standards, building codes, and community design guidelines. You will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, assisting with design development, and managing architectural controls throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Drafting
Work closely with architects, designers, and construction teams to develop detailed architectural drawings and 3D models.
Create preliminary design concepts and technical drawings for custom homes and land development projects.
Ensure all designs comply with zoning regulations, municipal guidelines, and client expectations.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
Architectural Controls Administration
Review and submit architectural designs for developer and municipal approval.
Ensure projects comply with community architectural controls, covenants, and design guidelines.
Liaise with municipalities, developers, and consultants to facilitate approvals and permits.
Monitor and enforce architectural design standards across all projects.
Project Coordination & Documentation
Prepare and manage construction documents, including working drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with engineers, interior designers, and trade partners to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical components into architectural plans.
Support project managers with design-related inquiries and revisions throughout the construction process.
Assist in maintaining a digital library of architectural drawings, details, and specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential design, drafting, or architectural controls.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural software.
Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code (or applicable local codes) and residential construction practices.
Experience in architectural controls administration and municipal approvals is an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

We seek a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant & Coordinator to support our executive team comprehensively. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, resourceful professional with exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, efficient workflow, and strategic coordination within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to the executive team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Act as a liaison between executives, clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and workflow.
Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents as needed.
Organize and maintain confidential files, records, and contracts related to projects, financials, and personnel.
Assist in coordinating company events, client meetings, and industry networking engagements.
Oversee and manage project coordination tasks, ensuring alignment between departments and timely execution of deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic environment.
Professional demeanour with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Knowledge of the custom home building and land development industry is an asset.
